Three biggest problems I have with "professional" game reviews:

- Terrible writing/argument standard. Doesn't apply to every "professional" reviewer, of course, but some of the reviews I've seen on big gaming websites are laughably badly written. You could find better reviewers by just grabbing some prolific writers from GameFAQs.
- Hugely hyped game receives fairly positive review with one or two minor negatives. Gets 9.5/10. Lesser hyped game receives glowing review with one or two minor negatives. Gets 8.5/10.
- Games reviewed by someone who is terrible at that type of game. You don't understand how to play Fire Emblem? Fine. Don't review the latest Fire Emblem.
