Most of the SMT series is fairly modern day, really. Of course most of them are in a post-apocalypse after, like, fifteen minutes of dicking around and Persona's the only real one that keeps it at least somewhat grounded in reality (albeit around giant Greek towers of evil and TV Worlds for half of the game). I'd probably say Persona is the best bet for a 'realistic' setting, since TWEWY takes place in an enclosed Shibuya under the rule of death gods who want to screw with humanity, but eh.
