See, the thing for me is that FFXII feels slow. It doesn't matter if it is slow or not. It feels slow. Plus, more often than not, battles don't feel very...frenetic or lively. At least random encounters don't.
Someone has never gone into the basement of the Pharos or the hidden part of Henne Mines, I see!
In all seriousness, I disagree, but I don't think there's any real way to rationally justify either of our positions here beyond "I like it", "I dislike it" and possibly "Nuh uh".
