not really, in japan it is pretty common to be a member of more than one religious community. shinto doesn't really shut out the possibility of you belonging to other religions.

Still, I wonder why they bothered to make her go there? Maybe just for diversity's sake. Also, did Venus attend a different school as well? She had a different uniform didn't she?
