Here we go kids, a gay ladys list of her top 50 slam pieces!
No. Kidding. Thats a completely separate list. And if this one goes well thats where well be heading next. But for now, here are some of my favorite female characters of all time. I thought about just doing a top characters list, but to be honest there really werent that many males on it, so I decided just to go for the full monty and have this be exclusive to the ladies that brighten my life so.
Ive wanted to get more involved in the board lately, and this seemed like a great way to do it.
Number 50 will be posted relatively soon. The list is already complete, but Ive only sporadically done write ups for some of the top half and a few of the bottom half. So for now, any and all predictions and discussions are welcome and encouraged. Im sure someone will post a character and Ill be all oh damn! because I forgot them, but for the most part Id say this list is pretty accurate!

50. Martha Jones Television Drama/Comedy Dr. Who/Torchwood Played By: Freema Agyeman
Possible Dr. Who/Torchwood Spoilers Starting us off at number 50 is Martha Jones. I have to admit, I dont really know all that much about Dr. Who. I did watch the first two seasons of Torchwood though, which was pretty good, and I was happy to see her back for a while there. The only experience I have with the actual Dr. Who show is my senior year of college one of my roommates DVRed it all the time. I got up for work at 4am and usually put on an episode while I was eating breakfast, so I picked up on a few things. Although I was mostly just impressed by the makeup! Martha was one of the things I picked up on. I thought she was awesome and bad ass and I love a hot black lady with an English accent. Is there anything better? For that Martha deserves to make this list, and could possibly rise in the ranks if I ever decide to go back and fill in the gaps with the show itself. Oh, and those lizard people are so ****ing cool.

Even though she got the least time devoted to her out of all of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad, Vernita is still one of my favorites. Her scene with The Bride is hilarious and exciting all the way through. She has some great one liners like You want some coffee?, and Black Mamba? I shoulda been mother ****in Black Mamba. Every time I go back and decide to watch the Kill Bill movies I always look forward to this segment in Vol. 1. The deadpan with her daughter coming home from school is great as well. And the whole thing with the dog getting in the living room and acting himself a fool. Always makes me laugh. So, not much else to say, except that I love it!

BIGPUN9999 posted... have you played FE GCN or Valkryia Chronicles?
I haven't Pun, but I've heard from like everyone that I should play Valkryia Chronicles lol. And yeah, I really like some random characters, so be prepared!

If I made a list like this I'd actually have 3 Kill Bill characters on it, one of them being even more minor than Copper Head (Gogo Yubari) so yeah I can totally relate to having minor Kill Bill characters on a top 50 female characters list. (The other two would be the Bride and O-Ren Ishii who would basically be expected I'm sure)

Yep, thought someone might say that. It just seems like such a daunting task, especially since I'm watching through Buffy the Vampire Slayer right now. But I'm hoping to get to it eventually.

It's not so bad if you start from the 2005 series. You miss a few things here and there but it's done in such a way as to give old fans a kid of "oh cool they didn't forget about them" moments and new fans scratch their head for a few seconds and don't think about it after the fact.
48. Ana Lucia Cortez Television Drama Lost Played By: Michelle Rodriguez
Lost Spoilers I love Michelle Rodriguez. There. I said it. Now you know. Ana Lucia gets a lot of flak from Lost fans, and shes not a lot of peoples choice as favorite character from the series. But I loved Ana Lucias balls to the wall attitude and swagger. This woman single handedly convinced me that a black tank top and jeans was maybe the sexiest outfit of all time. Personally, I like that MR gets type cast in these rolls, because she plays them perfectly. Did I mention shes super hot? Yeah, I think we covered that What? Sorry. Im back. But yeah. Ana Lucia. Killin people. Throwin people in pits. Dyin. My only regret is that MR didnt want to stick around for longer. She took some of the focus off of Jack and Kate, which is always a good thing.

Lol, I guess maybe I just see Ana Lucia differently, but I thought she was awesome. Every time she made a cameo I was like yesssssss.
And yeah, I'd say Gogo is more culturally recognisable than Vernita is, but for some reason a lot of times I feel drawn to the characters that get very little screen time.

I guess so. I'm not really sure Gogo gets all that much more screentime-- the fight/conversation between The Bride and Vernita at the beginning lasts a good 10 minutes I know Gogo's fight is pretty brief (but incredibly awesome) and she gets that little vignette beforehand but still.
It's close, anyway! They're both pretty minor! And I'd probably rate her over The Bride (maybe) and O-Ren (definitely) too so yeah the point of "I can relate to liking minor characters a lot" stands.

Well I think the scene at the beginning with Vernita is pretty memorable too, but yeah I get what you're saying. For me it's hard to say which one had more "important/memorable" screentime cause I'm a Gogo fanboy (I of course was just using this whole thing as an excuse to bring her up)-- but I always thought that Vernita was supposed to be more significant/memorable despite how I felt. They're both fairly minor in any case so it's kinda just apples to apples!

47. Brittany S. Pierce Television Comedy Glee Played By: Heather Morris
Had I compiled this list a few months ago, Brittany definitely would have been higher. Had it been last year, she would have been much higher. There was a time when Brittanys one liners were second to none. She was this minor character, with maybe one or two lines every other episode, that just stole the scene whenever she spoke. Even just doing random things in the background, she was always funny to watch. I was beginning to follow Glee just for the Brittany lulz. But then they started giving her character more to deal with, and they started forcing her out of the minor character comic relief into a full fledged mainstay for the show. Youd think this would be a good thing, but it really killed what made her special in the first place. I realize they did it because she was so popular, but Heather Morris herself has said she prefers being a background character that can just dance her ass off. And thats the way I prefer Brittany as well. Now it seems that theyre icing Brittany out completely, as shes had one line in about 4 episodes. They just cant figure out what they want. Glee is really a terrible show. Just terrible.

Yeah, Glee is just uncomfortably bad and to be honest kind of embarrassing to watch. Even if you're alone. I find myself DVRing it and fast forwarding through probably 50-60%.
And now, number 46!
46. Cassandra Alexandra Video Game Soul Calibur series Voiced By: Reiko Takagi/Debra Jean Rogers
Pretty much my go to in any Soul Calibur game shes in, Ive always liked Cassandra because she was far less of a dirty Slutty McSlutterson like her sister Sophitia. I like Cassys weapon the best out of anyones in the game, save for maybe Lizardmans ax/shield combo, and her moves just seem to flow naturally for me. I like her quick and aggressive style as well. Her character design is cool and I like the attitude she gives pre and post fight. I was sorry to see her not included in SCV, but Im hoping Pyrrha will make up for it. Although I dont know, she looks pretty sullen and angst like, but admittedly I havent played yet.

CrimsonOcean posted... Hooray! Number 45 is the first RPG character to show up. Wonder who it'll be.
I can think of a lot but then again if I had made this topic it would mainly be RPG characters

45. Ashelia "Ashe" B'nargin Dalmasca Video Game Final Fantasy XII Voiced By: Mie Sonozaki/Kari Wahlgren
Truth time. I hated FFXII. The overly political story didnt interest me and whenever I watched a cut scene I felt like they were just talking in gibberish. I didnt really care about the characters or what was happening to them or why. I also didnt care for the license system, and I was weirded out by the MMO feel of the enemies being out on the field especially having just played FFX. Ashe was really the one and only reason I pressed on. Im a sucker for a girl with a sword and I just enjoyed fighting with her. Her story was the most interesting to me of the whole group as well. I almost wish she was in a different game or something, because I think she would have held up a lot better with a different supporting cast. And thats all Ive got to say about that.

Ashe with a different supporting cast would be way worse, unless "different supporting cast" ended up meaning "all the exact same characters in the same roles but looking slightly different". She was very boring to me until I started really thinking about it and comparing her with some of the other characters in the game, which is where most of my appreciation for her comes from.
