Point is, Fast Travel has NOTHING to do with exploration. People who are intent on looking for a destination isn't going to enter a cave with a different name just because it's there. Likewise, the people who love to explore will just ignore fast travel (or, you know, whine and moan about it on the internet) and enter every location they stumble unto. Whether or not fast travel is in the game so they can warp to their destination won't magically change how they play the game.

Combat? Yeah, better in Oblivion. This is NOT including the leveling system, which sucks ass in all ES games, but if we include it then yeah, Oblivion is the worst one. And how can you not be in combat every 2 minutes while exploring a dungeon? It's full of critters here and there. Unless you meant 2 minutes fighting the same enemy, then yeah.

And lol the last comment. Hell, I explore the entire land to dungeon plunge when I have to wait for the next quest or quest stage.

Fast Travel did have something to do with exploration. Play Morrowind. Play Oblivion. You can tell which game the developers spent more time on adding hidden dungeons, things to do on the side of the road, and overall exploration. Morrowind. Oblivion was very watered down and bad compared to morrowind.
