Surprise drunken MGS3 BOSS RANKINGS.

The End
Obviously the best. Everything about this dude is just, wtf awesome. SO MANY things can happen in this fight. You can have a lethal sniper duel where you can search and pelt him from afar with your SVD. Or you can go the stamina kill approach, which is also really fun because you have to track him using several different methods, then sneak up on him and do what you do best. There's just a bunch of cool things about this fight. It can take anywhere from 5 to 45 minutes to win. Even when he uses his FOREST HEAL ME powers, it's like oh darn you extended the length of time I get to have fun. HOW SAD.

The Boss
So much emotion. The fight itself is fun because, once again, you can go about it several different ways. If you're competent at countering her, you can pretty much CQC the crap out of her the whole way through. Which is awesome. Otherwise you can sport some snowy camo and go hide toward the edges of the battlefield and snipe her face to hell. Either way is super fun. I still haven't gotten the hang of countering her CQC perfectly yet, but I did pretty good last time I fought her. And let's not forget about the EMOTION of this fight. And if you take longer than 5 minutes, SNAKE EATER starts playing. And if you take longer than 10 minutes, YOU GET SET UP THE BOMB (game over, bro).

Volgin
This fight discourages the use of weapons because the dude's electricity will strike the metal and shock the s*** out of you. CQC is the way to go most of the time. Then when you have him down on the ground, let loose with whatever you want. And then quickly retreat. This fight is close quarters and intense. It's also timed, as if you don't beat him in 10 minutes, everything blows the f*** up. He's also got some nasty attacks, and it's best to learn how to recognize what he's gonna do and then counter/dodge appropriately.

The Fear
What can I say? THE FEEEAARRRRRRR! I love this dude. He's creepy and kooky. He dislocates his joints so he can walk like a spider. He coats his bolts with the venom of the most poisonous spider in the world. He's also got optical camouflage. The thermal goggles makes this fight super easy. Even without them, not that difficult. And it can be done really quick. Regardless, it's still so fun. With all the traps around in the battlefield that can either benefit or hinder you. And throwing out poisonous food for The Fear to foolishly eat and puke up, further reducing his stamina, that's always my favorite way to defeat him.

The Fury
HE CAME BACK FROM SPACE. He has a jetpack and a flamethrower. This dude is pro. The area you fight him in can get a bit hectic, especially if you're on the ledge and get hit, you backflip to your doom. This is why I usually stay in the area near the door and snipe the mother f***er. People say it's difficult to find him, I never had such problem. He's usually in a corridor filled with flames, and his silhouette is pretty easy to spot through it all. Shoot him three times, he falls down, run away so he can't find you. It can get difficult, especially when he goes berserk. But I never had much problem. Even easier if you're going for a lethal kill, just shoot some of the oil drums when he's near and it takes a HUGE chunk of his life.
