So last night was the end of the regular season in my weekly head-to-head league.
To make the playoffs, I needed one guy to lose his match, I had to win mine, and I needed to outscore a third guy by 12 points if he won his. Going into Sunday, that 12 had turned into a deficit of 21 points.
...Yesterday, I got 20.5 points and he got -1.5. I made it in on the tiebreaker by a single point, capped by Eric Staal's 2G1A and Mike Smith's shootout win.
Time for Crosby to lay a smackdown on the #1 seed.
