At this stage, the 3rd Strike Online Warrior series is geared towards average to below average players who are looking to try out other games beyond SF4. As with a lot of my content, I try to offer something for everyone. 10% of people who watch these things are actually really good at the game, another 10% are decent, and literally 80% are casual players looking for entertainment or to hopefully get something out of this.
For 3rd Strike veterans, I can absolutely attest that this series in it's current state is not meant for you, but I only hope it could be entertaining to a degree. I've never claimed myself to be amazing at 3S, only my sheer love for the game itself. Please don't take what I say in this show as direct instructions, as I'm only trying to persuade people who are newer to fighting games as having a different direction than FADC-Ultra or backdash out of everything. There's a ton of other quality fighting games out there that deserve playtime, and 3S is absolutely one of them.
I also like to give props to real, successful tournament 3S players, like Renic and Gootecks in the latest vid. I only meant to spark a conversation with 3S videos amongs players and viewers alike, and judging by this thread...it seems to have worked to a degree. I appreciate any support you guys give for the time I invest into making these videos.
