Reminder that you used to shill for murderous dictators like Assad and Putin on 261 and you're probably the least progressive person on this board, as much as you try to pretend otherwise around people unfamiliar with your posting history.
I never shilled them, stop lying. Also telling that you're trying to change the subject. Think before you post.

If Bernie's only path to victory was to win in a splintered field and if it came down to two candidates and the voting base broadly voted for the centrist one of the bunch, yeah, that's pretty in line with American democracy. Perfect? No, not at all, but the notion it's more democratic for a guy with 40% of the vote to represent 100% of the Dem voting base is pretty laughable. Bernie's best bet was to not receive a majority of the vote, there's no real way around this when you bring up resentments from 2020.
Anyone's only path to victory is to get filtered through one of only two viable parties' primary process. It's undemocratic and it's fixed such that no corporate/rich-unfriendly candidate will ever get through. Anyone that thinks progress can be made in such a system is fooling themselves.
