In the event Joe Biden is unable to run the country, Kamala Harris will become President and I'm okay with that. But shouldn't we have better candidates?! Yeah, we should. It'd be great if one party wasn't an existential threat to entire groups of people ranging from black people, LGBT, all the way to women. It'd be great if we didn't have a party that would gladly strip every non-white non-straight non-Christian non-cis male of all of their rights if they thought they could get away with it. If only. But we do. It's what we have, and they're like a pest unwilling to leave. We're going to have republicans forever and democrats will make sure of it. Democrat leaders have said that "we need a strong republican party". We were at the republican breaking point when George W Bush got us into two wars, did the dumb border fence bullshit, fumbled the hurricane Katrina response, and presided over the worst economic crisis since the great depression (and bailed out the banks that caused it).
