To who? In the U.S. being an incumbent comes with a boost in their favor. That's why so many members of Congress retain their seats while doing nothing, because they're the incumbent and have name recognition.

Having said that, the media is treating Trump like he's some newcomer when they talk about his performance in the primaries when he's essentially an incumbent himself, just 4 years removed.

Him barely getting 51% in Iowa is actually pretty terrible for an incumbent candidate.

This is the worst advice I've ever seen here. Political apathy and ignorance is why the U.S. is so fucked up in its politics. We need more political engagement and informative levels, not less.

Not really. If you've been following politics for the last 8 years it's pretty obvious who you'll have to choose. If you know the candidates, I don't see why I have to follow the news to find out what they are like. Americans have seen Trump in office, so with Biden. I don't think there is much left to see.
