| archizzy 02/09/24 8:56:27 PM #4: | I'm so glad my house is paid off. I have no bills except required monthly bills. I live in a pretty cheap cost of living area of the Midwest and have a pretty good job. I'm just stockpiling cash and investments right now until I retire.
I turn 48 in about 2 months. The only thing keeping me working really is insurance coverage. I have awesome insurance through my job that is pretty much free and has been the last 25 years. If I could retire tomorrow but keep my insurance I would do it. It won't be money keeping me at my job but insurance. I'd love to retire in about 10 years.
