Those who do read the comics however, found its story very much contrived and it can easily be seen as another Batwank story. It took the sequel for some people to realize just how bad it was getting. Same goes for the Marvel VS Capcom games. Most of the Marvel VS playerbase has never picked up a single Marvel comic in their lives and wouldn't be able to tell you anything about their Marvel mains that didn't come from a movie or a cartoon they watched that one time. --- "Oh hey look, it's Vegeta, the son of Trunks."
