Mainstays of his speeches made their way into his CPAC speech.

Donald Trumps CPAC speech has hit on several of the former presidents favorite topics.
Trump railed against the border crisis, long one of his most popular topics for speeches. Reminder that he recently helped kill the bipartisan border deal in the Senate, which would've cracked down on border crossings and sent more funding to strained immigration agencies.
He also came to the defense of the imprisoned Jan. 6 rioters, which has been a cause clbre among CPAC attendees this week. As Trump spoke, one audience members was heard yelling, "Free them!"
And Trump briefly pivoted to foreign policy, arguing that a number of ongoing conflicts wouldnt have happened if he were president. The attack on Israel wouldve never happened. Iran was broke. They were broke. Ukraine would have never happened, he said.
