Youtube has been a dick about this lately...Firefox, uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger. Tell Orivacy Badger to block any domain with youtube in the name. If you ever get a popup, go to UBO settings and purge cache / update all filters. If this doesnt work, wait about 30 minutes and do it again. Repeat until you stop getting popups. Then you shouldnt get one for 2 or 3 months at the least. For Android, install ReVanced Manager, then use that to install ReVanced Extended (they also have ReVanced versions of Spotify, Twitch, YouTube Music, etc., if youre so inclined, but at least with the Twitch one I had some audio issues after it worked fine for months and I havent tried the other two). If you have an Android TV device like the Shield Pro, nstall SmartTubeNext. For iOS, install Altstore, then find an alternative.
