People like Carlin and progressive media outlets and some like Jon Oliver really show how rigged and corrupted and absolutely hopelessly greedy society is and how success relies heavily on luck for those who manage to get there without being victim to the various roadblocks and keep their integrity as a decent person but then people get completely outraged when you chalk up their success to luck as if luck somehow invalidates their efforts, that's arrogant as fuck, there are plenty others like them who also worked hard, did the right moral things and didn't get to be successful like them, to deny luck in success is something I'll never understand. Yeah, anybody who is successful has had a measure of luck. Some more than others, and it doesnt necessarily mean they havent also needed to work hard, but its impossible to make it without a bit of luck too. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
