| joaquintall 04/28/24 2:45:45 PM #29: | TMOG posted... I never move forward immediately after the light turns green for the reason I posted above. Even if the intersection is clear when the light changes, I'm looking both ways just to make sure there's not an asshole flying up to run the red. There's a difference between waiting an extra second or two to make sure nobody is badly running a red and sitting there like a jackass because one can't be bothered to keep off the phone while driving. I give benefit of the doubt for this very reason, but it's extremely obvious when nobody else is coming through the intersection and the guy in front has clearly missed that the light has changed. And I tend to give a gentle double-toot - as in "I'm not pissed off (yet), but get going" ... Copied to Clipboard! |
