Great movie.
Max is also on of the few figures you ever see grow up in Disney. Hes in elementary school in one Christmas special, middle school in the show, high school in the movie, then college in the second movie.
Then another Christmas special hes in his 20s bringing a girl home to meet his dad he might marry.
Also if you count them some of the classic Goofy shorts from the 50s and 60s had a young Max in them.
Its interesting because have any other Disney created characters ever grown up? I know some sequels are years later. But Max you see him at different moments where he grows up and matures
