None of the movies feel anything even close to the original three movies, even as controversial as JP3 was.The original three movies don't feel close to each other. People need to stop worrying about legacy so much and just enjoy things. The fact that there are no other dinosaur movies to even watch is a mortal sin so why complain when we do get some if they're kind of dumb? Dominion wasn't great but the other two are absolute blasts to watch. The third one really is the executives hitting the nostalgia pipe but the other two feel like someone said "we've got an infinite budget to do whatever we want. Let's see what crazy shit we can come up with to shake up the formula". The first one especially felt like it was storyboarded by a child playing with action figures and it is one of the best theater experiences I've ever had because I was that child when the old movies were coming out. --- https://i.imgur.com/AUXKMK4.jpg ...
