I asked a friend once why it seems more women teachers get caught over this compared to men. His response a woman doesn't need to kiss and tell and man has to brag. And that's the day he told me he's fucked a teacher before. I've known him since he was 4. He was 33 when he told me this. Yeah basically the only thing keeping a boy that age from talking about it is him being willing to protect the teacher. He will get nothing but positive responses from other people.

Whereas a girl will worry about being slut shamed or blamed. Even when the girl is a minor, it's depressingly common. I heard a sex worker talk about getting groomed and sexually assaulted by a police officer starting at the age of ten, and she said part of the reason she never told anyone was because of a girl a year or two older who was sexually abused and after the guy went to jail she got called a "homewrecker" and was reviled by all the other kids in her class.
