What started you on this path?My story on becoming an alcoholic isn't a particularly interesting one. No tragic backstory or anything like that. I just really like drinking. I come from a world where drinking is very normalized and everyone I know does it to some degree. It's just what you do when you get off work, it's the weekend, you get together with your buddies etc. Eventually it becomes a habit and the line between I do this because I like it and I do this because I need it becomes totally blurred.
