And shaming them and ragging on them for their decision is NOT going to change the results of the election and will certainly not help convince them to vote in future elections.

It's the Democratic party that needs to be pressured to do better at this point not the voters. Attacking potential voters is not a winning strategy.

So, let me understand this.

The Democratic Party has to earn the votes of every group of disenfranchised people in the United States? They have to simultaneously show every. single. disenfranchised group of people their intricate plans of how to better their daily lives, explain how they are going to police the world to ensure that more genocide does not happen for each localized conflict, as well as how that will ultimately stimulate the economy, create jobs in America, while keeping the nation safe?

I don't know how you do that. And if those are the metrics by which the Democrats have to earn the votes, the right simply voting against all of that while certain marginalized groups decide not to vote will mean largely that the Dems lose. Repeatedly. For likely a long time.

I'm not saying that progress is impossible, or that the Dems are even a "great" option most of the time. As an outsider (I'm Canadian), this was literally WOMEN'S RIGHTS being attacked, amongst all other marginalized groups in the nation, and that is not enough to give the Dems a shot to even keep the status quo.

To teach the Dems a lesson you would condemn millions of people, both in the US and around the world, to at LEAST 4 years of fear, poverty, and potential death.

That is selfish.
