| Shotgunnova 11/26/24 1:30:37 PM #20: | Slowking wound up being the MVP and got to the mid-40s, on the strength of wrecking all Team Magma lineups and generally doing fine through neutral ones, too. Tyranitar's defense is okay, but part of the reason I wanted him (besides nostalgia) was 'cause I thought he'd be good against thunder types. I have distinct memories of my Tyranitar having fun with Earthquake and stuff, but Tyranitar is Rock, so thunder stuff still gets through. I knew I should've went with Steelix! Part of the problem with Emerald is that I just don't like 90% of the new creatures. I want the fun of Gen 1-2 with a kickass Gen 1-2 lineup, not something diluted with Gulpin, Wingull and other jank.
