Interesting to see Bullet Train so divisive, guess we actually basically reflected the critics with being split down the middle on it. And I do want to be clear, despite the score I found it middling not bad. However, for me the big problem with Bullet Train is not that its trying to be a fun movie. I love fun! Oh that Lightning, they like fun so much people always say! Its just for me this wasnt fun enough. I do wonder if I would have liked it more if I had watched it at home instead of at the cinema though as the big screen probably made it more apparent how horrible the CG at the end was. Oh well. Its all subjective and glad for the people who really like this, just explaining my perspective.

Glad my top half is largely intact! Thinking its Shoplifters next as I can see the films pace being offputting to some. Have a lovely break.
