Indeed, though there's the tiny issue with that idea that there are already plenty of studios churning out indie and AA games that fit his criteria without his help, which kind of muddies the whole "the industry is overrun by whatever I've decided 'woke' means today and I'm the only one that can save it" narrative he's pushing and therefore isn't something he'd necessarily want to admit to by offering additional support. That route also wouldn't let him take as much credit as if he makes them "himself," and he does rather like being able to take credit for stuff.Maybe that's why he floated the whole buying Hasbro thing? He'd get control of several IPs that he could then license out or use in whatever studio he thinks he's going to make. He couldn't mismanage the D&D franchise any worse than Hasbro management is currently doing. Maybe several smaller projects by different studios rather than risking a AAA flop like Veilguard. Why are you expecting me to be able to read his mind to discover whatever 17d chess move he's planning, when he's most likely bloviating like usual and failing upward anyway? --- There are four lights. ...
