The set infrastructure is that the only trusted news source is Trump's mouth or whatever propaganda influencer they love that says good things about Trump. And the information from the news sources are telling them that the cost of everything is down and other countries are bowing down to the US.But how dumb do you have to be to believe that gas prices are below $2 when you're sitting in a gas station parking lot and literally see with your own eyes that it's not? How can you hear the egg prices have never been so bigly in terms of smallness, minutes after getting home from the grocery store, and seeing that the price is virtually unchanged and go, "yea, he's right! Even though I have the literal receipt right here in my hand proving it hasn't!" This goes beyond just "I'm the only news you can trust".
