This What a Mario World thing is a clever little bit, opening with the SMW intro and then splitting off into a new song. Kind of reminds me of those old "AI autocompletes a song" gags. 6/10 Halved halved halved makes me feel like I'm going to throw up. Not like I want to throw up, but like I'm going to. Good job? 2.5/10 There are four video game soundtracks that I consider to be holy texts, in terms of their influence on my style and preferences. Well, okay, ten, because one of them is "all of the NES Mega Man games". The other three are Pokemon TCG 2, Kirby's Dream Land 3, and this game. Shit kicks ass. I love the weird trash can groove so, so much. 9.5/10 Warning Call is uh, a perfectly fine pop song 5/10 Ten Hours was a really pleasant surprise. It's simple but well constructed and I enjoyed it a lot 7.5/10 The most uncanny thing about Happy Hour, the thing I can't stop listening to, is how much the voice at the song fucking sounds like Wario from WL4. How the fuck did they do that! This song really makes me want to play this game although I think the guitar veers a little too much into Mega Man X crunchiness 8/10 ... Copied to Clipboard! |
