| wallmasterz 08/17/25 1:04:13 PM #33: | Theres a big difference between the first serialized show and when it became mainstream Soap operas were serialized in the 50s/60s Primetime had serialized stuff in the late 70s Twin Peaks was big in the early 90s but serialization wasnt a trend yet It became more mainstream at the turn of the millennium with yes premium channel type stuff first (Sopranos) and then you can really point to the success of 24/Lost cementing it on main channels (ABC, CBS, FOX) by the mid 00s --- I need to update my signature. ...
