I respect the actual games themselves even if most of them don't hold my interest but the sheer number of corperations and government connections and sponsors the majority of big sports leagues have rub me the wrong way. Even if I was a fan I think I'd also still get annoyed by the sheer amount of promotion it recieves to the point of being utterly inescapable. If someone else has tickets and offers to let me go to a game, especially a WNBA game, then I'll gladly go and have a good time but I don't feel comfortable supporting something like the NFL directly.
