Like imagine being in your 20s and 30s and still being mad that you got picked on by the jocks in high school or even middle school. Sports are great. Competition makes society healthier. GINTegg64 08/31/25 12:12:53 PM #12:	I respect the actual games themselves even if most of them don't hold my interest but the sheer number of corperations and government connections and sponsors the majority of big sports leagues have rub me the wrong way. Even if I was a fan I think I'd also still get annoyed by the sheer amount of promotion it recieves to the point of being utterly inescapable. If someone else has tickets and offers to let me go to a game, especially a WNBA game, then I'll gladly go and have a good time but I don't feel comfortable supporting something like the NFL directly. --- "I am what I choose to be. When the game requires you to practice tackling so often, what safety measures are they introducing that makes the game any safer? A better helmet isnt going to make your brain any less bruised. Last I heard there was a lower amount of CTE in other contact sports suggesting the helmets might actually be a negative in the prevention of it as it encourages the athletes to accelerate faster and hit with more force. --- I am awesome and so are you.
