They updated a ton of shit but it does still have the feel of the original game(they even use the same sound effect for going up/down stairs and leaving areas). I only started on normal difficulty because I was wary after how hard the DQ3 remake was in some spots, but it's felt kinda easy 3 hours in so I might turn it up. I first played Dragon Warrior when I was like 8 and never beat it because I didn't understand the whole grinding for levels thing. Or that I needed to bring torches to caves, but you don't have to do that anymore. They added in the random sparkly map loot and secret spots from the DQ3 remake too, and mini medals. I have 7 of those but haven't found where to turn them in yet.
