At any rate, your examples are bizarre and more than a little silly especially since you're implying that Trump is a worse leader than guys who sent all of the intellectuals to labor camps (because, you know, taking many of the smartest people in your society and forcing them to do menial tasks is a *great* use of labor!)

He's pushing in that direction despite being the US president. He's a worse leader in a stronger, more independent country.
