| Axl_Rose_85 04/13/17 1:20:05 PM #30: | It did so much right (and some wrongs too) and I absolutely loved the first few chapters but then it went south as soon as it started hitting the linear chapters with its poor storytelling. Still a great game but could have been one of the best FF games instead of merely a very good FF game. It was also my 2nd favorite game of 2016 tied with Uncharted 4 (Dark Souls III takes first place by quite a stretch). However the games released this year are making FFXV look kinda bad in comparison namely Persona 5, Nioh and what I've played of Zelda: BotW and NieR: Automata. I'd say even Resident Evil 7 is better. So 5 games this year have already outclassed FFXV. This may just be evidence that this year has been an outstanding year for video games or that FFXV simply cannot hang with the very best out there despite being a very good game itself. --- Fave Five: 1.
