Too bad they're extremely rare in the extended cab version with 4x4 The 3.0l 6cyl has the sameish power as the 4cyl and same fuel economy as the 4.0l. I think it's got the perfect power in 4x4 in snow and off-road 4.0l is a blast with the most power. Post 2001 (I think), they redid the engine and have it a lot more umph but at the cost of more expensive repairs. Still plenty reliable though. I personally prefer the 4cyl extended cab 4x4ost, albeit rare. A 4.0 single cab too; it'll eat tires if you let it. Try to get the manuals for more power and mpg I inherited a 3.0l ext cab myself though as free is g8. I also have a 3.0l with 324,000 miles, but it just sits.
