Gay men are not seen as an issue because men are at the end of the day exendable so who gives a fuck, but a lesbian couple is essentially taking two potential sources of offspring out of the tribe. It's a pretty base instinct approach, and it's certainly not an issue in our current society as we do not run the risk of population collapse, but instincts die hard and it's only been a few thousand years since losing two females could spell disaster. ...
