nothing bad happens to you.

Military families won't get paid, people depending on government subsidies to open a business won't get them, people depending on entitlements like Medicare/Social Security won't get it. People who have jobs in various federal offices like SS Administration, the folks who make passports, etc will be told to go home and come back when we're open again. etc.

Oh, and we don't pay our bills and USA's economy tanks. But who cares about that, right?


I think it's crazy how many people have this "Nothing bad happened to me individually, so nothing bad happened at all" mentality.

it's the same logic that leads to people believing that racism doesn't exist anymore, that climate change is a lie, and any number of other issues.

Some people only care about themselves
