I just don't know if it is right to perpetuate the idea of an imaginary blockbuster in your child's mind, autistic or no. Isn't this gas lighting in a way? How is he ever going to learn to cope with loss if his parents just recreate everything to avoid any changes in his environment? The blockbuster is gone. He needs to be able to cope with it. I'm going to start "writing" a book, filled with quotes from CE. I'll title it "Why You're Still A Virgin". I'll be a New York Times bestseller within 6 months under the comedy genre.
