If you have convincing reasons for doing things then you should probably do it. Rather than saying nationalizing A means we should necessarily nationalize B-Z instead we should say, what are the advantages of nationalized B-Z on a service by service basis and if we find that the pros of doing it outweigh the cons than we should. Nationalizing healthcare doesn't necessarily imply that we should nationalize the rest of those things. They're totally unrelated. In short your borderline slippery slope point is bad.
