Sounds a like a waste of time due to poor hiring decisions. You're supposed to hire people who the firm culture from the start, not indoctrinate them after the fact.

It's not indoctrination. They even tell you that you can be against women in the workplace, just don't bring that mentality to work.

Eh, seems fair then, especially since he said it multiple times. Even if you really want to voice a questionable opinion at work, most people would at least gather a sense of what co-workers they can or cannot do that around.

That guys seems like he had bad judgement and lacked social awareness anyway. I doubt sensitivity training would have helped.

Maybe, maybe not.
But it would seem that, as a whole, it would increase the chances that someone who thought that way could still be gainfully employed.
