That's really all there is to it IMO. What the player making the argument thinks doesn't matter, because they don't vote. It's a skill worth learning to not think about whether you believe your team wins, but rather whether voters will believe you win. An argument is wrong if it can be proven wrong. Not if like 4 more random ppl on some obscure board vote so.
