So we give tails a pass because he is already flying.

That leaves 4 of them to be possibly(very likely due to speed and distance,) we should try and figure out how likely it be to hit them based on where they start. The two most likely scenarios would be in a line or semi-grouped either squared or diamond shaped grouping.

Now, it is much more likely that all four get hit if grouped and a better chance that two get missed if they are in a line. If heroic tropes have taught us anything heros like to group shot heroically. I think this leads to an increased chance they start this fight grouped.

Look how confident skyridge is in this fight, you know he would have completely undersold how bad this match could be for them. This is a group of guys that come in under prepared and start the match with this giant debilitating spkie tank coming at them faster than any of them can move.

I know that with as many times its been said that one or two of them might try to deflect or destroy the shell instead of getting out of the way. This means you are actually decreasing the chances that all 4 of them get out of the way.

So in the interest of fairness we can say that this fight becomes tails and 1 other vs. Bowser. I can explain how Bowser wins anyone of these 2v1's.
