His opponent had the advantage of strength but he at least had a weapon. The gorilla shouted out and charged on all fours. Larry attempted to jump to the side and swing at it, but the ape was too fast as Larry spun in midair the gorilla slapped him with an open palm sending him reeling back. As he tried to catch his breath he knew that he would need to try a different approach if he was going to survive this encounter. Taking the offensive Larry charged toward the gorilla as it pounded on its chest. The ape threw dirt in the air but Larry thrust his scimitar forward and cut the gorilla deeply on its arm. It shrieked out in pain and Larry used this opportunity to strike. He moved in close and sliced the apes other arm. As the gorilla opened up to try to swipe Larry away he thrust his sword into the gorillas gut. The animal screamed out in pain and tried to rush Larry, but in doing so it just imbedded the blade further into itself. As the gorilla slowed down from its injuries, Larry slashed the blade through its impaled body cutting open its chest and leaving the mighty ape dead. Exhausted and beaten Larry decided that he had had enough exploring for one night and submitted to letting the other tributes look for the cornucopia.

George Washington was getting close to his goal, he could feel it. The jungle called to him. In the distance he could make out the sounds of heavy drums drawing him in. He followed the sound and eventually came to an area that was lit with torches sticking up from the ground. Smiling with his large wooden teeth Washington knew that he had found his way. As he walked the sound of the drums grew louder and louder. Soon he saw more torches getting closer together as he went. He continued along the lit path and off to the sides behind the torches he could see totems carved out of wood depicting great beasts and terrible monsters. He pulled a torch from the ground and held it out so he could see things more clearly. The totems became more frequent as he walked. He eventually was led into a stone corridor with withered carvings covering it. As he passed through he looked to either side and saw skeletons, lining the stone. Their bones had been picked clean by the jungle creatures and there was no way of telling how long they have been here. He wasn’t deterred, he knew his goal lied ahead. The drumming was louder now, almost deafening. As he exited the corridor he emerged in a large clearing and in the very center of it was a large stepped pyramid reaching high above the trees. He took a deep breath and approached the ancient building. It was intricately carved with images of serpents and birds. He didn’t hesitate. He walked up the stairs leading to the top of the pyramid. Leading to his destiny.

He reached the top and could see a path leading through to the other side. Torches hung from the sides of the walls lighting his path as he approached the other end of the pyramid. As he walked forward he was greeted by six men. They were short in stature and had painted faces. They wore strange robes, but they were very excited to see him. He was calm as the sounds of the drums drowned out all other senses. They led him to the back side of the pyramid where he found himself over looking a village of these people. Most of them were naked or barely clothed, but when they saw Washington they jumped up and down and cheered wildly. He could finally see the large drums that had led him here. The men that had led him put a rope over his shoulders that was similar to their own and the crowd screamed even wilder. “This will be my army,” Washington thought. “I have been led to the people that will help me end the tyranny of our government.” He held up his hands signaling the crowd that he believed in them. He was mesmerized by the enthusiasm of this tribe.
