So for the Flash S3 finale why exactly did they bring back Jay? I mean in the context of the episode. He was just brought back because and didn't really do anything. Same for Wally's leg not being snapped he just kinda stood there.

Honestly it kinda felt like they put themselves into a corner with the writing and didn't know what to do with all these Speedsters. There were good episodes and moments through the season, but ultimately Savitar was the weakest major villain on the show.
