Woah first ep of Supergirl that I actually legitimately like....... and it was pretty Jimmy-centric to boot, huh.

Flash was a lot of fun! The courtroom scene reminded me of the scene in The League when Andre had to provide his expert opinion and kept fiddling with his glasses.

Yeah the preview made this episode seem like it would be really tedious but it was enjoyable. They even mentioned Hartley again!

When they were talking about how Savitar wouldn't have any memories after Barry had the procedure, all I was thinking was how yeah, but he'd have the memory of the procedure being done, so wouldn't he want to just bust in there and destroy the machine before they can even use it? But of course that didn't happen.

Maybe Savitar knew they were going to do it before they even tried, but he also knew that they would give up on that plan so he just didn't care to stop it.

I thought Supergirl was really good. I expected much worse after he went all "nobody sees me as a symbol of justice :(" but it got much better. I still think that this may have come too late in the season and I don't see how they'll still explore this with two episodes left. I'd still prefer not to see him, but I'll take it.

Lucifer was amazing, but it's always amazing.

Gotham was pretty fun too, with plenty of surprising moments. Riddler is super fun.

Also I loved the part where the writers made up a new time travel rule that exempted themselves from having to try to make sense. "We'll just tell them the more time travel shenanigans we get into, the less we have to explain them! It's brilliant!" That's not a criticism, I legit thought it was funny.

I question how Ivy would've known Fries' and Firefly's exact locations but whatever. I also feel like the Court should be smart enough to know Gordon would probably deceive them. That and Riddler shouldn't be dumb enough to step in that car unarmed after all the warnings he's heard about the Court.

Also Fox picked up The Gifted, which is an X-Men based show iirc, and FX (FXX?) is getting an animated Deadpool show.

y'know that's pretty shady but it's not like they ever did a good job explaining it re: Thawne to begin with

Yeah, the writing for this show has always been kind of simplistic but that was especially egregious. Decent episode otherwise though.

ABC's schedule for next season is out. Inhumans in the fall, Agents of SHIELD midseason. Both on Friday now.

Also on FOX's schedule, Gotham's moving to Thursdays. Lucifer's moving up an hour and The Gifted will be on after it.
