Once you learn how to keep the pressure up, dodge/guard at the right times, and weave your moves together correctly you can murder the crap out of pretty much anything. I just got into a plot battle with an enemy twice my level and if the game hadn't taken me out of fight to do some cutscenes, I'm pretty sure I could have won. And I'm playing on Hard! It barely feels like an RPG battle system.
