If you were living check to check and had to work it's harder to get to the DMV. That fee for the ID could go towards groeceries for the week. And that's just the first layer. The people who are affected most by who is elected would be left out....and it just "coincidentally" would happen to those most likely to vote Democrat.

Not only that, the state will close all the DMVs except one, and/or set the hours that they're open to be 9-5, which are normal work hours for most, so they'd need to take time off work to go stand in line at the DMV.
