I believe they've openly stated that they often stretch the truth for the sake of telling a better story, which is fair, but discredits them slightly for anything other than entertainment purposes. Yeah, they admit despite the idea being outdated, they follow the "Great Man" theory of history because it makes for a better story. Their Lies segments are when they reveal all the things they may have fudged for drama and all the interesting real life things they didn't/couldn't include. They're good for a "narrative version" of history, but aren't something you can rely on for actual research. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
