| Teen Girl Squad 05/30/17 12:01:03 PM #41: | Cake is overrated. No substance/texture and isn't satisfying (Notable exception being ice cream cake, which is amazing). Cupcakes are even more overrated. It has the cake problems but even worse. Food Network has ruined everything by hyping cupcakes more than they deserve. Bottom tier desert. Used to say Italian food was overrated but I feel like the hype has finally died down a bit. It was confounding that bruschetta was treated like divine mana but somehow chips and salsa (pretty much the same thing) was peasant food. Thin crust pizza has its place and is good but thicker crust is better. Pizza is bread, sauce and cheese at its core so to marginalize the bread so "you can taste the ingredients" was as is dumb. In fact, I'm in the camp that its the crust that makes a truly great pizza, more so than the sauce, cheese and toppings. --- "Rest of league playing checkers, Chargers playing E-Sports."
