Like honestly, LoK ones are the only ones I can think of that do that. Since forever. Running water is one of the traditional vampire weaknesses. Even Alucard takes damage from water in SotN till you get the Holy Symbol and he's a daywalker too. I dunno, I looked it up and it seemed like the only myth about it was vampires don't like rivers because if they died in them (not from them), they'd be trapped.
